“We need leaders focused on helping all people, uniting our community, and investing in our children and our future. I have spent my life working to help kids and families get access to education and opportunity, and I am running for State Senate to put people first, not parties and special interests. I’ll bring your voice to the table.”
STANDING UP FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES:
A career education professional and Federal Way School Board President, Claire knows that a high-quality education, from early learning to higher education, is the key to opportunity and success. In Olympia, she’ll ensure our schools are fully-funded and our children prepared for current and emerging careers.
ACCOUNTABLE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS:
South King County has waited long enough for the transportation projects we have been funding and deserve. Claire will work to streamline delivery of road improvements, light rail projects, and other transit needs, making sure they are done on time and on budget.
Claire hears from families every day who feel the pressure of rising health care premiums and out of pocket costs. In Olympia, she will work to guarantee every family in our region has access to affordable healthcare coverage, protect the rights of women from partisan attack, and ensure our state is doing its part to control healthcare costs.
